Most of the photos I have posted are from a 12-set shoot for a calendar.. but it’s not going to be sold or something. It’s going to be used by the model/client personally.
It was really tiring! We had to run, work fast, and fix relevant stuff faster. Plus our biggest downer: TIME CONSTRAINT! We had to produce 12 sets in three hours! It’s funny how a page of a calendar remains unmoved for, well, a month when us, the ones working on it, had less than a day to do it.
Nonetheless, it was one of the best shoots I’ve ever been part of 😀
So here’s a taste of how the shoot was like, ermmm.. before the chaos started:
me and Gem (makeup artist)
me and Genetricieva (model)
makeup artist and model
me, Genetricieva, and Gem
the tandem 😀 (after the shoot) DUCK! My nose looks flat here! DUCK DUCK!
Just a thought:
First dates can make or break you.
Everything is carefully done
just to have him thinking nonstop..
Who calls first?
Kissing on the first date a taboo? No.
A kiss will always be a kiss.
Magic will happen..
when it’s supposed to happen.
FYI: this post is called First Date because the model wore this outfit to a basketball game where she met the love of her life.

Let me go all emotional on this one : )
Life is a masquerade
What they see can’t always be what they can get.
The outside may speak of what is inside
but it can’t tell every inch.
Once the masks are off,
that’s when the beautiful unraveling begins.

I envy those who draw for a living. Those who can turn a blank sheet of bond paper to something that can be sold for fortunes.
I remember what we did during our internship. You see, we had a lot blank moments – we were left doing nothing at the spot for the Creative Department interns (well I was under Accounts though) – and all we did was doodle! We had this huge piece of paper and a bag of pens and after hours of doodling.. VOILA! Piece of art!
But MAN!!! The parts I made always end up as the worst so my friend had to “retouch” it. So after that summer, I told myself, “I’m gonna be the best doodle-ist in the world!”
Armed with a Moleskine and my trusty pen.. I doodled the frustration away. And I must say, I’m kinda getting the hang of it.
Here are some of my doodles.. my Moleskine (crappy) art:
After releasing a new dance floor hit with Cobra Starship, Miss Meester is at it again. And this time, she’s pairing with Robin Thicke for a sexy number Somebody To Love. I’m a huge fan of both so I can’t stop raving about this one.
Let me quote what my friend, Nikolai, tweeted:
thinks @itsmeleighton looks smokin’ hot in her first music video. Her chemistry with Robin Thicke is electrifying. Sexy, sexy, sexy.
Agree. Agree. Agree.

It’s been months since a local techie site asked me to do photography for them. BUT STILL! Every time I see their feature about me, I can’t help but still feel ecstatic.
Here’s how the article goes:
A graduating marketing student of San Beda, Arvin discovered the art of photography a few months back when they had a school project for a marketing campaign on their own clothing line. Inspiration struck and, since then, he’s taken it upon himself to take the camera to take art as they are from landscape to high fashion photography. Although still a hobby, he’s learning through different people and groups to explore the world of photography. When asked if ever he’ll be doing it as a profession, he replies with a smile, saying “If I can still do this in 5-10 year time, why not? I can use my photography for advertising and besides, I’m having fun with it right now.”
I did my part. Took photos of the model named Anne. The experience was awesome, given the idea that it was my first time to do a studio shoot.
Here are some photos I took:
